- Reykjavík the capital of Iceland is a city that with a colorful character built on the southwest side of the island. Its population is not large (about 200,000 inhabitants), but let us not forget that we are talking about a small and sparsely populated country, therefore half of Icelanders are concentrated here.
The first thing that impresses you is the Lutheran Church Hallgrimskirkja, a building that does not resemble a church as it has a special design.
Climb to the top that is 27 meters high and look at the beautiful view from there.
Taste true Icelandic cuisine and experience the city’s special nightlife. Gaze upon gorgeous graffities that spring up everywhere in the city, hike on Mount Esja, photograph the Imagine Peace Tower (a memorial of the Yoko Ono dedicated to John Lennon’s memory), and not forget to see the wonderful colors in the Harpa concert hall.
A lively city with many music scenes, art venues, restaurants, bars and pubs that have a lot of people every day.
The weird and for some scary landscapes, the geothermal lakes, glaciers and volcanic wonders that exist in this place are just some of the natural sights you will meet there.
The nature has been generous to Iceland, and although you may miss the sun, you will not miss the strong emotions, since in every corner and with every hour and moment you spend there, you discover something new!
